Steve Schultz was born in Baltimore and moved to Harford County as a young boy. From a very young age, Steve was taught the power of helping people. As a teenager, Steve’s father worked with acompany that housed disabled adults or those needing assistance. The joy on client’s faces during company events left a lasting impression on him, so much so that he started and has continued his career serving others.

Steve spent thirteen years working in law enforcement for the State of Maryland. Most of that time was spent in management – working as a shift supervisor, operations officer, and eventually as a commander in a specialized unit. After retiring from the police department, Steve was eager to join Barb and continue his lifelong mission to serve. Together, Steve and his mother have worked tirelessly to make the company one of the most trusted and preferred agencies in Maryland.

Steve feels very blessed to be married to his best friend Katie for almost 20 years. Together they have four children and three dogs. When Steve isn’t working, he enjoys being outside every chance he gets! As a family, they love going to the beach, pool, sporting events, boating, or sitting by a fire. Most of all, he treasures the time he spends watching each of his children play the sports they love.
