Katie Schultz

Katie Schultz was born and raised in Harford County, Maryland. During college, she worked for an assisted living facility – helping in the dining room and with outings and community events. It was a great experience getting to know the residents and keeping them happy.

After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences from Villa Julie College (now Stevenson University), she went on to work at Johns Hopkins University in the medical research department. While she enjoyed this work and knew she was a part of tremendous medical advances, she started to realize that her true passion was helping people on a more personal level.

She was able to make that dream a reality when her mother-in-law opened MB HomeCare. Katie joined the team and now, more than a decade later, Katie remains as dedicated as ever to making a difference in MB’s clients’ lives. She plays a major role in ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing for the best, worry-free care the company can provide.

Katie’s position keeps her busy, but not as much as her home life! As a mom of four, she describes her world as crazy and full of wonderful chaos. Having a big family and kids involved in many different types of activities, there is always something going on. Katie and Steve celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary this year!

When she isn’t working or running the kids to their activities, Katie loves hiking and being outdoors, enjoying nature with her family.
