Deborah Toole, RN

Clinical Director

Deborah Toole

I have been a nurse for more than 30 years. I began my nursing career at Johns Hopkins but most of it has been centered around home Hospice

I am married to a wonderful man named Bill and I have four children and a sweet dog named Melo. My family continues to be one of the greatest joys of my life. I am a proud grandmother to a two-year-old grandson and am excited to welcome another grandchild in November!

In addition to being a registered nurse, I am a certified life and relationship coach, an ordained minister and a certified end-of-life doula. My work as an end-of-life doula has allowed me to support individuals and families through some of life’s most meaningful and difficult moments, providing education, guidance, compassion, and a listening ear as they navigate the end-of-life journey.

My faith is an important part of who I am. It guides the way I live, the decisions I make, and the way I strive to treat others—with compassion, kindness, dignity, and respect.

Outside of nursing, I love baking.  One of my favorite hobbies is making cake pops!

Throughout my nursing career, I have always felt that caring for people is about so much more than their medical needs. I love getting to know people, listening to their stories, and learning about the experiences and journeys that have shaped their lives. I believe everyone has a story worth hearing, and I feel privileged when people allow me to be a part of theirs.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have spent so many years caring for others, and I look forward to continuing to make a difference in the lives of the individuals and families I have the privilege of serving at MB Homecare.
